We sat down and talked to the partners of our Divas to find out more about a Boudoir experience through their eyes…
Confidence is a personal thing, and it doesn’t matter how many times a loved one calls you beautiful - if you don’t see it yourself, it can be hard to believe it. Additionally, our body is our own. 95% of the time, our Divas are solely booking the Boudoir experience for themselves.
Having said that, it is also easy to underestimate the impact our own confidence can have on our loved ones. Our friends, family and partners thrive when we are happy. Plus, when we find self-belief, it inspires others around us to embrace who they are as well.
So, with that in mind, we thought we’d talk to some partners of Divas who have come to us…
Graham & Shelley
What changes have you seen in Shelley since their Boudoir experience? Have you seen any changes in their life, or how they feel about themselves?
Shelley loves to look at her pictures and remember how confident the experience made her feel, and seeing her so empowered feeds into her attitude and how she sees herself in the everyday.
What were your thoughts when Shelley told you that they had booked the Boudoir experience?
I thought it was amazingly sexy when first told, and I was curious as I had never been a part of anything like it.
Obviously, we want our loved ones to be happy and to feel great in themselves, but it’s easy to underestimate what someone else’s confidence can mean to us personally as well. What does it mean to you for Shelley to feel confident in themselves? What benefits does it bring to your life?
Shelley walks a little taller, dresses a little sexier, and plays in the bedroom a little naughtier.
What stood out to you about the Divas experience?
The pre and after care. The phone calls before the day felt like you really wanted to get the best from Shelley and listened to her. Afterwards with the slide show, nothing felt rushed or pressured for a sale.
Did you come on the day of the Divas Experience? Were you there for the Design Consultation? If so, what was your favourite thing about being there on the day?
Getting excited with Shelley, seeing her hair and make-up get done and talking with Shannon seemed to ease and calm Shelley into the process.
What has been your favourite thing/moment from the whole experience?
Seeing the pics on the slideshow for the first time and squeezing Shelley’s leg as a pic peaked my interest.
And finally, what do you think of the artwork and photos?!
The artwork is excellently produced with an excellent finish. During the Design Consultation, it was great to have a large selection to narrow down to a collection. The ones we have above the bed really get the heart racing.

Conor & Shaniah
What changes have you seen in Shaniah since their Boudoir experience? Have you seen any changes in their life, or how they feel about themselves?
Shaniah is much more confident in herself since doing the experience.
What were your thoughts when Shaniah told you that they had booked the Boudoir experience?
At first I was skeptical, but then she explained it all to me and seeing how she feels now and how much good it has done for her is amazing!
Obviously, we want our loved ones to be happy and to feel great in themselves, but it’s easy to underestimate what someone else’s confidence can mean to us personally as well. What does it mean to you for Shelley to feel confident in themselves? What benefits does it bring to your life?
It’s amazing seeing how confident Shaniah is now! It just makes me happy seeing her happy!
What has been your favourite thing/moment from the whole experience?
My favourite thing is just seeing the mega positive affect it’s had on Shaniah since doing it!
And finally, what do you think of the artwork and photos?!
I only had a brief look via FaceTime on the day. But it just confirms what I already think about her! She’s beautiful, sexy, and just needed some help to release that confidence!
Alania & Katie
What changes have you seen in Katie since her Boudoir experience? Have you seen any changes in her life, or how she feels about herself?
Since Katie’s experience she seems way more confident in her body and more proud of the way she looks. She used to put herself down a bit which obviously I can't understand as I think she's beautiful! However, when she does a Divine Divas Boudoir shoot it definitely boosts her confidence and rightly so!
What were your thoughts when Katie told you that she had booked the Boudoir experience?
I know she has done one before and I loved seeing the photos when we were just friends, but when she did this shoot we were a couple so I was really excited to see what you guys came up with and to see the results!
What does it mean to you for Katie to feel confident in herself? What benefits does it bring to your life?
I love seeing her feel confident and happy about herself - all I want is for her to see herself the way that I do! When she feels that way, she is so much happier and it really shows. I am so glad that this experienced helped to see herself through my eyes
What stood out to you about the Divas experience?
The experience was great as Jess let me come into the Design Consultation to help view and pick the photographs with Katie. She also presented them to us in a very well put-together slideshow that I couldn't keep my eyes off of!
Did you come on the day of the Divas Experience? Were you there for the Design Consultation?
I didn't attend the photoshoot part of the day as the shoot itself was a secret. The photos were a surprise!
What has been your favourite thing/moment from the whole experience?
My favourite moment from the experience was definitely getting to sit down and see the slideshow that was made with the photos; the way it was all put together was amazing and special. I also very much enjoyed getting our album which we have on display in our bedroom!
What do you think of the artwork and photos?!
The photos are incredible; from the way she was positioned, the lighting, the use of certain props and angles, it all had a very special touch and I couldn't be happier with the results. She has been twice and hopefully will return again, maybe for a couples shoot so that I can get involved too! Thankyou!
Tom & Kirsty
How do you know Kirsty? How did you meet?
I was fortunate enough to meet Kirsty on a dating app, otherwise I’m very doubtful we would have crossed paths otherwise!
What changes have you seen in Kirsty since their Boudoir experience? Have you seen any changes in their life, or how they feel about themselves?
She has really seemed to gain a lot more confidence since her photo shoot. I think for her to see herself, and how amazing she looks in the photos, has helped her feel more confident in herself. Even though she is often very critical of herself, she has been less hard on herself, and able to recognise her own achievements and progress; in whatever she sets her mind to. Doing a photo shoot for the first time must be an incredibly nerve-racking experience. She mentioned recently that having done it, she feels more willing to do things, that before she may not have had the confidence to do.
What were your thoughts when Kirsty told you that they had booked the Boudoir experience?
I was very surprised and excited for her. It seemed like a nice thing for her to do and I was looking forward to seeing the photos!

It's very important to me that Kirsty feels confident in herself. Obviously, I care a great deal about her and love her very much, so naturally I want her to feel happy in herself. And it is always comforting to know your loved one is happy.
What stood out to you about the Divas experience?
I thought it was a very fun experience. Everyone was really friendly and welcoming. And I thought the photos were first class.
Did you come on the day of the Divas Experience? Were you there for the Design Consultation? If so, what was your favourite thing about being there on the day?
I was there on the day. To be honest it was just nice to be there with Kirsty and help her feel relaxed. But everyone was so nice that I don’t think Kirsty really needed me.
What has been your favourite thing/moment from the whole experience?
My favourite thing about the whole experience is definitely Kirsty gaining more confidence in herself. She’s always so hard on herself, so it’s really nice for her to see herself differently.
And finally, what do you think of the artwork and photos?!
The photos look absolutely amazing, I loved every single one of them. She looks incredible in all of them. It’s a shame we couldn’t keep all of them!
Andy & Melissa
How do you know Melissa?
Marrying her.
What changes have you seen in Melissa since their Boudoir experience?
She has grown in confidence and has learnt to love herself and her body, no matter the shape.
What were your thoughts when Melissa told you that they had booked the Boudoir experience?
I was pleased for her that she decided to go for it and was looking forward to the results. I was also glad that she would also finally see herself how I see her.
Obviously, we want our loved ones to be happy and to feel great in themselves, but it’s easy to underestimate what someone else’s confidence can mean to us personally as well. What does it mean to you for Melissa to feel confident in themselves?
Everyone needs to have self confidence and a lot of women seem to have low self confidence. It was really important for me to have Mel feeling good about herself as she has no reason not as she is awesome.
What benefits does it bring to your life?
It makes me feel good to watch her be confident and to like herself.
What has been your favourite thing/moment from the whole experience?
Seeing the photos and her face afterwards.

Dan & Jess
What changes have you seen in Jess since her Boudoir experience? Have you seen any changes in her life, or how she feels about herself?
Yes, Jess has become a more confident person. Her first Boudoir Experience inspired her so much that she did a nude boudoir experience later. She is also so much more confident in her clothing choices.
What were your thoughts when Jess told you that she had booked the Boudoir experience?
Well I entered a competition and Jess didn’t believe me until Jess from Divine Diva’s called. I was over the moon that she agreed to do it, but it was potentially a high stakes move on my part.
What does it mean to you for Jess to feel confident in herself? What benefits does it bring to your life?
It brings me joy to see Jess confident in her own skin, and to know she finally sees what I see every day. We have amazing artwork that reminds us every day of an amazing experience and how beautiful my wife is.
What stood out to you about the Divas experience?
The whole experience was amazing, how they got to know Jess through the discovery calls but also they involved me by talking to me too. It was also amazing to see Jess getting her hair and makeup done professionally.
Did you come on the day of the Divas Experience? Were you there for the Design Consultation? If so, what was your favourite thing about being there on the day?
Yes, I was there for the whole day. It was an amazing experience hearing Jess laugh whilst having her photos taken. The design consultation was amazing to see the stunning photos showing Jess’ confidence; so much so that it made me cry happy tears. She even surprised me by going topless.
What has been your favourite thing/moment from the whole experience?
Seeing that Jess has a new found confidence in her skin and her knowing that she is perfect the way she is.
What do you think of the artwork and photos?!
We have the artwork up on our wall in our bedroom and it Is amazing to be able to see it every day.
Jess and Dan later came in for their own Couples Experience too… How unbelievable does their artwork look in their bedroom!
