“We Truly Believe Divine Divas Helped Save Our Marriage.”
An incredible story from a beautiful couple - as told through their eyes from their gorgeous Diva’s post on the Divine Divas Girls Group.
“Myself and my husband are huge fans of Divine Divas, and have been for some time. In fact, this was my third time coming in and my husband’s second.
Today, myself and my husband saw our photos. I genuinely could have cried. Honestly it is truly difficult to comprehend that it is you that you’re seeing.
We truly believe that Divine Divas saved our marriage. The first time I came in for my shoot I was alone. We had separated. I'd lost all my confidence as my marriage had fallen apart. What with us both working, looking after three kids, looking after our family, dealing with day to day life etc… We spent no real time together and over time it just fizzled to nothing. So when I turned up for my shoot I was so nervous. I felt as though I wasn't desirable (which my husband had never said, I just didn't believe his positive comments anymore).
Then I saw the photos. I just couldn't believe them. They were elegant, beautiful works of art. I was shocked. Although we weren't a couple any longer I showed Andrew. To which he stated 'Well, of course they're stunning. You've always been beyond words to me.' With that things changed.
A few months later we did a couples shoot. A year after that we renewed our wedding vows. Granted it has taken a lot of work, but we do feel that Divine Divas helped us to see that our relationship is just as important as everything else going on.
The team are utterly incredible. It's like visiting family! Truly it is. The talent, compassion, and general loveliness is overwhelming. The building is beautiful and the atmosphere is relaxed. The whole feel is just perfect.
For me alone, it brought out a long lost part of me that so desperately needed to brought back out. She had been forgotten for far too long. For us as a couple, it helped bring back the passion, the fun, the appreciation we have for each other..
So the moral of the essay is…do it! Don't hesitate! You won't regret it. Do it to see those incredible photos of yourself as you truly are; you'll be surprised at how damn gorgeous you really are! Do it as a couple or solo. Just embrace it. It's so much fun and empowering. Everyone is beautiful and deserves to feel it. Be proud of who you are.”
