“I Refuse To Grow Old Gracefully”

When we first met Amanda she told us that, at the age of 55, she felt that she had lost her body confidence. Over the last five years she had been working to find a self-care routine that worked for her - and had consequently began a love affair with boxing. She told us that when she was boxing, she felt she could take on the world and that, slowly, she was finding her way on her journey with self-love. She had found herself starting to reach for the colourful clothes in her wardrobe, breaking the life long tradition of hiding in dark baggy clothing and she felt like NOW was her time to push herself out of her comfort zone and boost her confidence with a Divine Divas Experience. 

Amanda is an amazingly loving woman who dedicates her life and career to caring for others but she knew, in her heart, that this was HER turn and she deserved this.

She told us that she doesn’t want to grow old gracefully, she wants to live life fiercely and learn to go for it, to feel well and truly sexy - which is what she wanted to be reminded of every time she looked at her artwork.

Before her experience, she felt so nervous… this is what Amanda had to say after:

"I have had an amazing experience today. I was made to feel so comfortable that I decided to go topless - and I am someone who hated her body and refused to wear a bikini or swimsuit! A big thank you to Jo and Jesse my photographer and Harriet for her skills.
